I have only seen a few entries for NATA so far, and most stuck to either trying to funny or formulaically list factoids which, while interesting to some degree, didn't really allow them to shine through and take a few opportune risks for their work. The best way I can describe this is that it's human. Everything about rains true and by using the physical, emotional and deep psychological traits of the human body, you created a story that was likable, funny, charming and relatable. It may be simplistic but, again, it is human and the contrast between the facts of life and, well, life itself was a truly phenomenal artistic decision. Based on the way you able paint a very realistic picture of just a small portion of some most people's lifes, alone, should be enough for you to win the competition.

Now with my pretentious rambling out the way, I better start talking about the technical side. The art was really cute. A vibrant yet simple colour palette really made the characters and environment stand out. I also like the designs, too. As said before, they are really cute designs and you did a fantastic job at making sure that these designs were not cluttered or overdone, which for the story you were trying to tell could have been a misfire. The comedy, while minimal yet present, was really quick, undisruptive and added to the charm, making characters interactions feel just a bit more genuine. The animation was fluid, very nicely paced and this shines through when the characters express their emotions through body languages and visual cues which were heavily complemented by the strong poses (Sorry if any of that sounds inaccurate on a technical level, i'm not an animator.)

In conclusion, this is pretty much flawless, what needed to be there, was there. Not overdone, or underdone. The perfect emotion, interaction, art, animation, aesthetic, great sense of pacing, character movement, blocking. All down to a tee. I wish you good luck in the tournament and to all your other work in the future.

Thanks for the very in depth review. Great points made.

What's the deal with Audible, anyway. It's not even gaming channels anymore, but out of all the people who fall under that particular demographic, who would want to buy books being read to them by celebrities. "The Count of Monte Cristo narrated by Samuel L Jackson". Not the best sponsor seen as it's incredibly hard to subtly advertise an entire digital service. Now Kraft's cheese, that would be a splendid sponsor.

I really do like this submission, its quite thought provoking considering the discussion on how these kind of people work, and has made me think from business perspective about possible sponsors. Oh, and your animating skills have improve ten-fold, really fluent and I like your nice colour palette. Even Mr Larry has come along way as a comedic voice actor. His understanding word emphasis make for some truly funny lines.

I hope the NATA tournament goes well, and good luck to the other participants involved, may the best man win.

Thank you man, the colors were like one of the only things I was satisfied with in this. That was actually myself voice acting though, people seem to get my voice and peter's voice mixed up often haha
